Communication architectures
Working group 3 looks at the development of communication architectures from today's commonly used standards towards future architectures. A current example is the discussion of the evolment of the Internet architecture, but also convergence of different, currently isolated architectures are an example.
This focus of working group 3 has been chosen in the WWRF meeting in Helsinki in spring 2007, where it was re-chartered from its previously narrower focus on cooperating and ad hoc network architectures. It now has a broader and more architecturally oriented scope than before.
